Library Insights Summit: Early Bird Discount Last Call

COMMUNITY, COLLABORATION, AND SUPPORT

If you need another reason to attend the American Library Association Annual Conference, LIS may be the clincher!

This day-long event, held prior to the opening reception at ALA, brings together librarians and publishers to celebrate the highlights of the lib-pub relationship and talk through the challenges of getting books into circulation at rural and urban libraries across the country.

Publishing professionals will enjoy informative sessions on best marketing practices to libraries, the importance of metadata, library distributors and wholesalers, balancing print and digital and audio demand, genre trends, and pitching titles to libraries of all sizes.

Two keynote speakers, lunch, refreshments, and plenty of time for networking will round out the day. We will also feature two morning tracks designed to meet the specific needs of author publishers.

Plan your ALA adventure in advance so that you can accommodate your booth set-up schedule around this can’t-miss event. The exhibit hall opens for set-up on Thursday, June 26, from 8am-5pm, providing you with an earlier alternative to building your booth on the day of LIS.

Registration for the third edition of LIS is open!
