France, 1788. The winds of change are blowing. The priceless necklace, the Cross of Nantes, lost in 1759, has reappeared on the neck of Estelle Guerrier. Her brother Guillaume, having lit Grenoble on fire, enters the world of Parisian theater and revolution.
