“The caliber of talent we’re attracting speaks highly of our current product and the continued growth of the company and the industry we cover,” said Victoria Sutherland, publisher of Foreword Reviews.

Seth Dellon, previously digital business manager at Publishers Weekly, has spent nearly a decade in publishing with a focus on content and product development and marketing. Prior to PW, Dellon was director of new product development at Combined Book Exhibit, where he worked with publishers to make their books more discoverable. Seth helped conceptualize and build PubMatch, the online rights platform, to a user base of more than 10,000 members representing more than 100,000 titles.

“Indie publishers are always at the forefront of innovation in publishing,” Dellon said. “I’m excited to be a part of Foreword and helping those indie publishers reach their best and broadest audience.”

Associate Editor Michelle Anne Schingler has been a reviewer at Foreword for the past four years, specializing in books on religion. Schingler has earned degrees in English and theology from the University of Georgia and Harvard Divinity School. She has a background in public libraries and book blogging. As associate editor, Schingler will help run Foreword’s Clarion fee-for-review service and social media, along with continuing to add her unique voice to reviews and blogs.

“There’s a growing number of independent authors submitting their work to Foreword, and every one of them deserves an articulate, insightful review,” Schingler said. “I really enjoy working with indie authors, publishers, and Foreword’s writers to make sure each book gets an honest, objective, helpful, well-written review.”
