As their forest shrinks, the animals have trouble living in peace; they decide some will have to be active only at night. The animals chosen for the night shift grow self-conscious, but when hunters set up traps in the forest, it’s up to the nighttime animals to save the day. Rubbings and stamped textures provide layered backdrops for expressive watercolor and ink characters.
