Armadillo Antics
Bright, collage-like illustrations add whimsy to this rhyming picture book about a night in the life of an armadillo. The armadillo awakens at the howl of a wolf, heralding that night has begun. Throughout the evening, it feasts on grubs, jumps over rocks, and outfoxes a dog before settling back into its burrow with the rising sun. The book closes with a handful of facts about armadillos that have been hinted at throughout.
