Bigger than a Dream

A tender depiction of mourning, Bigger than a Dream follows a boy through a day spent with the spirit of his older sister, who died before he was born. Misty illustrations befitting the dreamlike quality of the boy’s adventure complement scenes of the siblings riding bikes along the tops of trees and kneeling in a country graveyard. Though the boy’s sadness lingers, the colors are brighter when he wakes in the morning, comforted by the knowledge that even death cannot separate him from those whom he loves.
