This magical picture book presents a grounded lesson on acknowledging and accepting every part of yourself. Lika never thought much about her shadow until it started to misbehave. Embarrassed, Lika tries to hide her unruly shadow, but it only grows stronger, whisking her away to a mysterious world where shadows rule. In learning to accept the shadowy parts of herself, Lika regains control and comes to respect both the dark and the light within her.
