Clover
The youngest in a large family living on a farm, Clover has trouble making decisions. With her brother’s encouragement, she decides to accompany him to the river, but a lost goat coaxes her back into the woods. Faced with many choices along the way, Clover learns to listen to the only voice that matters: that of her heart. The siblings’ matching outfits—pink shirts under blue overalls—stand out against grassy meadows and the gold-plated bark of trees at sunset in stunning, summery illustrations.
