Jack the Library Cat

A stray cat is distraught when he’s expelled from the warm, story-filled library by a children’s librarian who just does not like cats. He finds an ally in Pascal, who’s more than happy to smuggle him in for story time and read to him in the stacks. Finally, the librarian relents, and a new program is born: story time with Jack. Muted illustrations with soft lines embellish this cozy tale about how libraries are spaces for everyone—maybe even those with tails.
