Julián at the Wedding
Julián and his new friend Marisol are important players in a wedding. When an accident ruins Marisol’s dress, Julián improvises a solution to save the big day. Watercolor and ink illustrations invite lingering over details, like an intricate lace tablecloth and flowers tucked into one of the brides’ natural hair. The story extends everyone an invitation to this “party for love,” whose bold colors and understated subversiveness create a welcoming environment for all.
