Little Ewe

This upbeat, rhyming counting story features a smiling shepherd and cheerful sheep—the littlest of whom gets distracted on her way up the hill. While racing lizards, spinning spiders, and croaking frogs are a source of fascination for her, the day fades to dark; Little Ewe becomes frightened as she wanders farther from her flock. Luckily, the shepherd won’t leave even one sheep behind. Soft edges, soothing colors, and spots of realism make this take on a Christian parable a visual delight.
