My Boss is a Serial Killer
It was a typical Wednesday afternoon “which any person in any office across the nation can tell you rival Monday mornings for being the worst chunk of time all week long” when Detective Gus Haglund walked into Carol Franks life.
In My Boss is a Serial Killer (Sourcebooks 978-1-4022-1909-2) Carol who spends most of her spare time watching television reruns (particularly cop dramas) is excited to find herself caught up in some real news-worthy excitement. She is the subject of all the office gossip since not only is she dating a hot detective but her quiet and neurotic boss (“the best boss in the whole world”) is suspected of murdering six elderly widows. This story of a burly detective a spunky legal secretary and her obsessive-compulsive boss is wildly funny. The author is currently at work on a sequel.
