A girl tries to avoid the cleaning part of a Sunday tradition in this wholesome picture book about family bonding. Every Sunday, Clara’s dad cleans and sings while her mother makes gumbo; Clara loves the singing but could do without the broomstick microphone. Still, as the cleaning goes on, she learns that time flies when you have a swing in your step. A playlist and a gumbo recipe are included to get others in the rhythm of Clara’s Sunday traditions.
