Storm Dragon

For an Einstein-haired grandfather and a child in galoshes, a seaside storm represents an opening for play acting. Against a smudged landscape that’s enlivened by sweeps of color, the pair, armed with trowels and noise-making items, undertakes a cheerful adventure. They trample through puddles and across reimagined shore detritus in search of the mythical dragon that they imagine to be responsible for the weather. It’s all fun and games until their imaginations (and their dog) run wild!
