Lily is really very busy, and she’s not interested in going to bed. She tells her mother, “I want to play NOW!” Just then the doorbell rings, and here is a small white bear who says the same thing. It’s party time! He takes Lily on an adventure in a flying bed, over the town and around the world to a party island where the festivities continue. Except that Lily starts to get sleepy and finally says, “NO MORE! It’s my bedtime.”
Vulliamy’s illustrations capture a bright-eyed Lily, a tropical island party, and a wild little dancing bear. Lily and the bear have been together before in The Bear with Sticky Paws and The Bear with Sticky Paws Goes to School.
