The Great Grrrrr

Hard pencil lines portray a monstrous interpretation of impatience in the two-tone illustrations of this picture book. When the Great Grrrrr arrives to deliver a package to a cottage, he’s met with no answer. In his frustration, he destroys the house, but when the elderly owner of the home returns, his embarrassment prompts him to make it right. The dark lines of the Great Grrrrr contrast with soft shades of pink on the grandmother and her cottage in the expressive illustrations.
