Courage and Complicity
Mary Brock is twenty-one when she goes north to teach at an Indian residential school. As the year unfolds, she learns much about herself and about the school. Mary is forced to make some hard decisions when she uncovers abuse at the school and tries to bring the perpetrator to justice. The gulf between courage & complicity proves to be narrower than she had once thought. Sixty years later, two unexpected gifts offer her a different perspective on her experiences & the meaning of courage.
