A guide for aspiring writers of poems, songs, screenplays, and musicals. Interviews and essays in each section give instruction and advice from acclaimed writers and industry experts. These are followed by a concluding piece called Mentor Me: An Inside View, guiding the reader through the creation of first and final drafts of a poem, song, screenplay, and a music demo, to give an "inside view", a sample of the process of one-on-one mentoring sessions.
